The eBook can be used by tutors for starter/plenary activities or as directed homework. It can also be used for extension activities or for students who need more help with the subject. The exercises are designed to be enjoyable and will reinforce what has been learned in lessons. There is a separate section containing answers to all the exercises.
 
 
What can I do with each eBook version?
  1. eBook for personal use by single user - this PDF can be read on a PC, tablet or mobile by a single purchaser. Printing is allowed, but uploading to a VLE network is strictly prohibited.
  2. eBook to upload to a VLE network (12-month licence) - this PDF can be uploaded to a secure, closed VLE network and accessed by staff and students at the purchasing institution for one year from the date of purchase.

Ann Barker graduated first with a Degree in Tourism and later a PGCE in Travel and Tourism. After working as Curriculum Leader in Travel and Tourism in a sixth form college, she is now a teacher of Geography, Leisure, Travel and Tourism at a high school. Ann has a wealth of experience and practical expertise in the tourism industry, from working at events such as the Australian F1 Grand Prix and UK’s V Festival to employment at Butlins and in the hotel industry. She also holds a Commercial Pilot’s Licence. Ann travels extensively for both work and pleasure, having lived in Japan and Australia before returning to her native Yorkshire.

Some great exercises for this level of students. Just one slight criticism is that it would be good if the exercises were put under "units" or subjects as this would make them easier to find and also would stop the duplication of other members of staff using them.

Thanks for this useful feedback. We have grouped activities under units in our new Level 3 Student Activities eBook just published and will look to do something similar with the Level 2 eBook when it is next revised.

Excellent ebook suitable for all different levels. Really good to see the students enjoying learning about the industry and there are so many different exercises and so it is suitable for all learning styles. Thank you

An excellent book crammed full of fun exercises for level 2 travel and tourism students. Great for year 10's and up, makes the subjects interesting and helps to give clarity for learners.
