Not as good as I hoped for

I really would like to be positive about this but I am disappointed with what is available. The vast majority, if not all is available already if you know where to look. Many of the activities are taken from the BTEC endorsed textbooks circa 2010 which if you are an experienced teacher of T&T, you'll have anyway. There is nothing to support the incoming BTEC course which is what we need.

Unit Overview

In this unit you will learn how to locate key destinations, gateways and geographical features in the UK. You will also investigate the differing needs of inbound and domestic visitors to tourist destinations, exploring the features and facilities that attract visitors. The unit gives you an understanding of how inbound and domestic tourism are affected by internal and external factors, such as security and changes in exchange rates. Throughout the unit you will use a range of reference sources to provide information on the UK as a destination.
